in 2004 involved in the area of Manufacturing/Trading/Training and R &D of biotech products/equipments for laboratory and industrial applications.

♠  Manufacturing

Bio-Age is involved in the Manufacturing/ Assembling of  variety of equipments like Ultra Pure Water Systems, Fermenters/Bioreactors, Incubator/Shakers, Spectrophotometers (Single, Double & Split Beam), Ultra filtrations (TFF), Ultra Sonicatror, Orbital/Rotary Shakers, BOD Incubators, Deep Freezers,Freeze Dryers etc by using local and imported components or through vendors under strict quality control guidelines of Bio-Age.

♠  Trading/ Marketing

Bio-Age is involved in the marketing and sale of its products directly or through dealer network across the country. Bio-Age has made collaborations with foreign companies for trading of their products. The major Foreign principals include Grant Instruments UK, Picodrop Limited UK and E-Chrom Tech Ltd.,Taiwan.

Company is directly responsible for the sale and after sale services for these products in India. The service team of Bio-Age Team is also trained to do the installation of the equipments with minimum help required from our principals abroad.

♠  Training

The company has its own “TRAININIG CENTRE” to provide biotech specialized equipments/ solutions to R&D/ Universities/ Bio-Pharma & teaching segment customers with high quality and affordable prices. It also provides specialized hands on practical training on Fermentation and Water Purification System technology area to the students/faculty as well as company executives of Biotech related industry. This training centre is the first of its kind, in the Northern India relating to the training in Fermentation Technology to different person(s) interested in this advanced field of Biotechnology.Company provides practical training on Upstream and Downstream Process related to fermentation technology area in its in-house training Centre at Mohali(Pb.).

♠  R&D

Bio-Age has setup a Research and Development department to develop new equipments “in house” and do the in-house testing of the equipments for better quality control. Some of the products under R&D are being developed within one year time are like small module on protein Purification System suitable for school/colleges and universities level, Company just concluded their research work done in collaboration with the Department of Biotechnology of Punjab University, Chandigarh, under which two patents were filed within a short span of two years on LIPASE/ESTERASE-CATALYZED SYNTHESIS OF ALKYL ESTERS BY TRANSESTERIFICATION” production. Continuous up-gradation and new product development work is going on in this R&D center.  

♠  Upcoming Future Developments:

(i)         Bio-Age is developing new gadgets for Protein Purification applications for School/  Colleges & Universities end users within one year.

(ii)        Increasing the Training, R&D and Production Area at new facility being ready this year with covered area of more than 7000 Sq ft to increase the intake of students and other customers for getting hands on Training on latest biotech products beside adding more companies in to the trading list as well as more products under manufacturing ambient.
